Snoukeys New Home
When Jill of Scarborough first moved into her new home she was concerned that her family pet (Snoukey the cat) would be able to jump over the existing pine lap fence. Determined to find a product that would provide a natural barrier and compliment the look of her beautiful courtyard Jill settled on a material called Natureed(r). Not only did the chestnut colour of Natureed create a magical contrast to the pine lap fencing but also, just as importantly, Natureed will ensure that Jill and her family will continue to enjoy those cool summer breezes that coastal living provides. |
|
Through design restrictions and the lack of eaves on the western side of her home Jill's other concerns was to protect her kitchen and dining room windows from the scourching summer sun. A pergola down the side, clad with Natureed was the obvious answer. |
|
All the family now enjoy magical filtered lighting with a pergola that will remain cool and breathe throughout those hot summer months. To take advantage of the winter sun, lift out panels were installed over both windows. |

Cladding With Nature
Does your back yard fence do little to enhance your garden? Do you cringe when greeted with an eyesore every time you venture outside? Or it that old tired looking fence doing nothing for your new landscaping project and ideas.
But look at the alternatives
To have it removed and build a new fence requires nerves of steel, hours of negotiations with the neighbours, plants may be damaged or removed, paving may need to be lifted, pets taken care of and what about the pools. We still need everybody to agree on a single brand of fence.

Brushwood Cladding Panels
For the owners of one of Freo's Bed & Breakfast establishments "Danum House", looking at the sterile appearance of their old fibro fence was doing nothing to compliment all the hard work they had put into their garden. They decided to contact Rick Edhouse from Westline Brushwood Fencing for some answers to their problem. He simply covered their old fence with BRUSHWOOD CLADDING.
Brushwood Cladding is a new product made from melaleuca brush. It is both soft and natural, and in this case has really transformed their garden. Blending in well with the plants, the use of Brushwood Cladding has created a more harmonious atmosphere for everybody to enjoy.
|
|
The owners Christine and Geoff were so pleased with the results they have not only recommended Rick to other customers, but have suggested he sends future clients around to view the transformation this product has made to their home.
Rick is a local brushwood installer and can be contacted on 9439 3446 or 0415 902 540.

Sean's Natural Solution
When you visit the home of Sean Perry from Stirling Cascades You can get the feeling that Sean has a real sense of balance about his work. On Sean latest project he has successfully combined the use of traditional hardscape materials such as limestone and brick with softer and more natural materials. |
|
In the pool area Sean has combine a traditional limestone retaining wall to support his boundary fence then clad the asbestos fencing with Brushwood Cladding. As a pool surround Bata decking was used in lieu of normal clay or concrete pavers. Whilst the pool fence is a mixture of rendered brick pillars painted with bold vibrant colours and the beautiful chestnut colours and texture of Natureed used as infill panels. |
|
To complete an absolutely stunning look, a timber gate made from Kapure and Bata was installed complete with a safety lock for peace of mind. Well done Sean, your use of colours, texture and natural materials has really given life to your garden. |
|
Interestedly when Sean approached Naturally Inspired for advice on what materials would be appropriate he was keen to use only natural materials that would regenerate and therefore be less taxing on the environment. Sean can be contacted on- 0419962321 or 9271 8440.
The brushwood and Natureed is available from Naturally Inspired.
